Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Occrr in Telegram, through our bot @Occrr_bot, or as a web app. By using Occrr you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use Occrr
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You may have only one account, verified with your own phone number.
- You must not use Occrr if we have banned you before.
Community rules
Be respectful. You must not:
- Use photos of someone else, celebrities, or images with nudity or sexual content.
- Pretend to be someone you are not, or give false information about your age.
- Harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone.
- Ask for money, run scams, sell anything, or promote other services.
- Share someone else's private information.
- Use bots, scripts or automation, or try to break or overload the service.
We may remove content, hide profiles, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, with or without warning. The Occrr team can access conversations on Occrr to keep the service safe, for example to investigate reports, scams, safety problems or legal requests.
You are responsible for your interactions
Occrr is a platform that helps adults meet. You alone are responsible for your conversations, meetings and relationships with other users, online and offline.
- We do not run criminal, identity, marital, health or background checks. Phone, Google and selfie verification only show that an account belongs to a real person with that phone number, Google account or face. They do not confirm who someone is, what they tell you, or how they will behave.
- We do not screen users, check what they say about themselves, or supervise meetings. We are not responsible for any user's statements, conduct or intentions.
- Any decision to share personal information, send money or gifts, or meet someone is yours alone, and you take that risk. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, arrange your own transport, and never send money to someone you met online.
- Any dispute between you and another user is between you and that user. We may help where we can, for example by removing an account, but we are not a party to it.
- If you are in danger, call 112 (India emergency number) and contact the police first. Then report the person to us.
Purchases
- Premium, Boosts and Super Likes are digital items. You pay in Indian Rupees through Razorpay on the website and app, or with Telegram Stars inside Telegram.
- Premium lasts for the period shown when you buy it and does not renew automatically.
- Boosts and Super Likes can be used until your account is closed.
- Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
- On the website and app you pay in rupees through Razorpay; inside Telegram you pay with Telegram Stars. Refunds follow our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy.
- If your account is banned for breaking these terms, unused purchases are not refunded.
Your content
You own the photos and text you add. You give us permission to store and show them to other users so the service can work. You confirm you have the right to share them.
Ending your account
You can stop using Occrr at any time and ask us to delete your account through @Occrr_bot. We may close accounts that break these terms or that have been inactive for a long time.
User content
Profiles, photos and messages are created by users, not by us. We act as an intermediary for this content under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We do not check it before it appears and do not endorse it. We remove content and accounts that break these terms or the law when we become aware of them.
No guarantees
Occrr is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that you will get matches, replies, dates or a relationship, that other users are who they say they are, or that the service will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, pause or remove any feature at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Occrr and the people who run it are not liable for:
- the conduct, statements, content or actions of any user, on or off Occrr, including anything that happens at a meeting;
- any loss of money, property, data, opportunity, reputation or emotional distress arising from contact with other users, including scams and fraud by other users;
- indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses of any kind;
- problems caused by services we rely on but do not control, such as Telegram, Google, Razorpay, Cloudflare, Supabase, your internet connection or your device.
If we are found liable for anything despite these terms, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is lower.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your conduct towards other users, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover the losses and reasonable costs this causes us, to the extent permitted by law.
Third-party services
Occrr runs on and links to services owned by others, including Telegram, Google and Razorpay. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes to these terms
We will tell you in the app or through our bot before important changes take effect. Continuing to use Occrr after that means you accept the new terms.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts at Chandigarh, India, unless the law gives you the right to go to a different court. For questions or complaints, message @Occrr_bot or use our Contact page.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
